Dirty Mountain - The Love That I Let Go
Dirty Mountain is a three-piece ensemble from Victoria, comprised of Elli Hart (vocals/guitar), Gord Light (bass/vocals), and Tom Slater (drums/vocals). They have a bluesy-country-folk-rock feel with storytelling lyrics, just the kind of thing we like. Dirty Mountain has a very intimate-rootsy tone, they make you feel like their songs are true stories that they’re sharing with just you, shhhhhh. Dylan Rysstad - Things of Luxury

One day my friend Lucy came to visit and she said, "you should do a live session with Dylan Rysstad." Then we drank a bottle of blackberry wine. A month and a half later Daniel and I shot this live session with Dylan.  He's a mix of folk-country with some classic rock influences (you can hear them).

Make sure you check out his other music, and keep your eyes (ears?) open for his new album coming soon. Check it out here: dylanrysstad.com

Kristie McCracken - After The Rain

Back in October we went to the Buckman Coe album release party for "Malama Ka 'Aina" and to be honest we went to see Vince Vaccaro form Victoria who opened the show.  Both of these guys put on awesome performances, but what really stood out to us was Kristie McCracken who started the night off. When she started singing Daniel and I looked at each other with "holy-shit-do-you-hear-that" faces.

So one rainy day in early November Kristie came over and performed "After the Rain" for us. In the editing process Daniel had to enforce a no-singing-along policy, because she has a voice that makes you want to sing, but apparently some of us just shouldn't.
