Florence and the Machine ‘HOW BIG, HOW BLUE, HOW BEAUTIFUL’
‘What Kind Of Man’ was my favourite song of 2015. Hearing it on it’s own long before the full album release I had no idea how good the other 10 songs that accompanied would be. And by ‘good’ I mean there isn’t one single bad song on this album. That’s what makes an album a total stand out to me. Much like my favourite album of 2014, Cloud Nothings ‘Here And Nowhere Else’, when you can hit play on an album, let that record roll, become excited as one song is ending, knowing what’s next, you’ve hit on something special. And Florence accomplished that something special in 2015.
