Top Five Time-Lapses of 2015

We went a little time-lapse crazy this summer, and the result was making a lot of sweet time-lapses and a couple boring ones (that never saw the light of day - note: don't time-lapse when the whole city is smoked in from forest fires, it looks like a picture). Here are my top five time-lapses, enjoy.

1) Chemainus River

This was shot at the end of the persied meteor shower in the middle of nowhere on Vancouver Island. It was the first night time-lapse we attempted and it turned out really nicely. Each second of this thing took about 12 minutes to take, so we set the camera up and went to bed.

2) Sea-to-Sky Gondola

In August we went up the Sea-to-Sky Gondola to shoot a piece with Lovecoast. We set a go pro up behind Jesse (the drummer) and let it go, the result was pretty spectacular.

3) Jericho Beach

We spent a lot of time at Jericho Beach this summer, a lot of time, a lot of lapses. This one is my favourite. Sunsets are always a good time.

4) Harrison Lake Clouds

This is another camping situation, we were camped way up on a mountainside over looking the specaular Harrison Lake. We just let the camera go and when we played it back we got to see the clouds forming.

5) Ruxton Island

Shot from Daniel's family's cabin on Ruxton Island, I just really like it.
